I would welcome users' experiences of recently purchased plan printers - AO
size.
Particularly of interest are the fully featured printers, copiers and
scanners.
Any comments good or bad welcome!

I work for a UK company looking at replacing an aging Xerox 2515 plan
printer (14 year old b/w AO copier).

TIA

I just bought a HP 1055cm. I chose this particular printer for the paper
handling characteristics. My users print to a variety of sizes, 8.5"x11" up
to 34"x44". With the optional roll feeder, I leave an 11" roll to do 'A' &
'B' size prints and a 22" roll to do 'C' & 'D' size prints loaded and do the
largest size 'E' (our smallest volume of prints) with the roll bypass & feed
precut paper manually. I only found two color printers that could do the
automatic roll switching, this HP and one from Oce. You didn't mention what
you would be printing......

BTW, I remember an old 25xx series copier we had. I remember asking the
sales rep if we could get a roll feeder. He showed me the specs on the
roll feeder. It was sort of like the roll paper holders at a butcher shop.
You pulled out as much paper as you needed, and it had a bar with a knife so
that the paper cut when you gave it an upward jerk! You would then feed
this "cut" sheet into the printer! My how things change.....
