Advert's Appearing

I'm Running XP sp2 , i have microsoft antispy running,antivirus&pop up
blocker,spyware blaster & spybot S&D. Adverts keep appearing when i'm on the
net ,they are in the form of a popup sometime & IE the rest of the time. when
IE appears it sometimes has" lop.com microsoft" on the blue bar at the top of
IE, i have read that this is malware but cant get rid of it. Keep it simple
with the fix not as clever as you.

Is the firewall enabled?
 
Go through these malware removal steps systematically in Safe Mode.
Update all tools first:

The last time I saw this was when the OP was using some freeware program
that was affiliated with lop.com. So even though he had all kinds of
antimalware programs and would clean up his computer, he kept the one
program that was installing the lop.com cr*p. So in addition to
cleaning your computer, look at what you've got installed.

Download, install, update and run all of the following.

Ad-Aware

If none of the above fixes the issue then download Hijack this, run it, save
a copy of the log file and cut and paste it back here to this group so that
I can analyze it.
