advertisements in web pages and html emails showup as just an x inside a
box-I have checked all settings and anything else I can think of-thought I
read somewhere that ie6 can become corrupted-any advice would be greatly
appreciated-all else seems to be fine and in working order-tyvm -Chris

I have the same problem red x's show up on my web pages
and on html emails. I have tried everything I can think
of to. I have done some research but what they suggest
does not work. If I find out anything I will let you know
and if you find out anything please let me know. Carla

Safely Rename the HOSTS file

In the event you can not access a site and you believe it may be due to an
entry in the HOSTS file.

You can use a simple batch file to rename the HOSTS file "on-the-fly".
