Advantages
Runs on Windows platforms
Most large corporations use it as a core interface
It can be centrally administered
It is extensible (you can add plugins and addons)
It is programmable (you can make your own applications using it)
80% of web surfers are using it
Disadvantages
It doesn't run on MAC's (but who cares)
Kids who spend all their time playing games on the Internet and who have a
grudge for MS bag it (but who cares)
It is not used much by Educational institutions, leaving our kids
disadvantaged when the enter the 'real' world.
