I keep having a problem with this part. I have an
updated version of msn messenger and it keeps
reinstalling the original messenger OVER and OVER again -
I keep blocking it or permanently deleting it and it
continues to reinstall it. Can anyone give me any ideas
on how to correct this, if at all??? I'd really
appreciate it.
 
that's exactly the problem that I have with MSN 6.2
apparently you have something running in the background that detects
software wanting to start when Windows boots

disable everything running in the background, including antivirus, firewall
and install MSN 7

Have you tried posting your problems
not related to MS AntiSpyware to

and please don't bother to send me private mail

Get HijackThis.exe from
http://tomcoyote.org/hjt/hjt199//HijackThis.exe

Save it to C:\hjt (new folder) then Open it and select
Scan and Save Log. Note where you saved the log then
send it to me as an attachment. Put Hijack in the subject
line and tell me the problem again. (I get lots of
hijacks so I need a reminder of the problem.) Let's see
if you have a stuck RunOnce or other problem.
