Hi,
I have a problem with Advanced Tools ->System Explorers.
At my home PC does not work, but on my office PC works
without any problems. The only difference is Norton
System Works 2005 Premium installed on my home PC. On
both I use Windows XP SP2.

Any suggestions PLS.

This is an unsolved question from some users, maybe
they all running Nortons Antivirus ????

One thing to try, Dont forget to enable it after test.

Turning off Script Blocking in Norton AntiVirus

Situation:
You want to turn off (disable) the script blocking feature
when using Norton AntiVirus.

Solution:
To disable Norton AntiVirus Script Blocking

1. Start Norton AntiVirus.
If Norton AntiVirus is installed as part of Norton
SystemWorks or Norton Internet Security, then start that
program.
2. Click Options.
If you see a menu, click Norton AntiVirus.
3. In the left pane, click Script Blocking.
4. In the right pane, uncheck Enable Script Blocking
(recommended).
5. Click OK.

Thanks for support. I've done all you suggest but the
result is the same - System Explorers still does not
work. I can send you also the error.log generated by
Microsoft AntiSpywhare if that could be in help.

This is a "Bill" case when he comes to it.

To the "Unsolved Bug FAQ list " i think.

Uninstall the program, enable show hidden files (Tools > Folder Options >
View (tab). Empty your temp directory. restart your PC and install MSAS in a
non default location such as c:\msas.

This advice does not find any solutions about why some users
can´t view
System explorer.

This must be tracked.........

Anything with grafich resolution ?

Suggesting third party AntiSpyware solutions does not help the problem
sometimes either Plun. ;-)

I too have the problem of not being able to see any of
the system explores. I am also running NSW 2005. The
strange thing is, after installing MSAS, System Explorers
worked fine, but after a reboot they were no longer
visible.

I did not write that. I wrote that "This must be
tracked........."
This is a bug.

About solutions for removing Hijacks, its important to
go to a "real" Forum instead of this mess.
In perhaps 99,9% of all cases there is a way out of this
with guidance.

.Thanks to all
I suspect plun is right this is a bug and must be
tracked. No reason to work over. I simply uninstalled
SystemWorks 2005 and the problem was resolved but still
not right decision...so I'll wait for next build and I'll
make the most of using both solutions... :-)

Hi

Well if it was resolved when you uninstalled NSW 2005
this is a clear appcompat issue.

Talking to myself:

I liked PC Tools but after that............. ;(
