Hi,

I am unable to find the option in Windows Vista Home basic similar to
advanced system information in tools section of help and support in Windows
XP Professional.Please guide me.

Trough the RUN try ot start MSInfo32.exe U will see nedeed information.

Start > RUN > write MSInfo32.exe should work for you :)
