How can i find an appointment in the past, but i want to search by the text,
not from the subject, in outlook 2007?

If you're using Outlook 2007, I'm assuming you have Windows Desktop Search
and have the Search Calendar box at the top of your screen. (If not - and
this is from memory so apologies if it's not correct - I think you should be
getting an InfoBar at the top

If you click on the double down-arrow to the right of the magnifying glass
(looks like two Vs, not a triangle) then you get various options including
Body which is where you should put your search criteria.

yes, im using vista business with desktop search and i have the box search at
the calendar. i also tried putting the word i want to search in the body, but
i dont know why the search cant find what i want. i created a new appointment
with a new word, just to test, and the search didnt find what i wrote.

In that case it sounds like your mailbox isn't being indexed incorrectly.
I'd suggest searching the Microsoft KB for "outlook 2007 search index" and
see if any of those results apply to you.

FWIW, I had this exact problem because I was running Exchange System Manager
(http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927676) but there are other reasons it could
happen.
