advanced router config

i've got a conexant hasbani as my main router, its all well and good cept for CS:S, for some reason it floods the router and makes it stop making new connections for a few mins, i was wondering if anyone knew how to get to more advanced settings on this router so i can adjust the timeout on connections and the number of simultanious connections, thx

I had this issue on mine, it's when it search's for servers on the Server List.

It has to open a connection to around 10,000 servers within 30seconds, to make sure each server in the list is online and what latency it is.

There isn't a way to get around this unfortunately.
 
yea, i guessed that was the problem but howcome some routers cope fine with it and others dont?
