HI Guy
XP Home on a friends PC always displays the advanced options menus at boot up. I have checked all system and conflicts etc. but it is squeaky clean and works perfectly when "start windows normally" is selected. There are no hardware problems at all. Is there any setting up anywhere that will stop this as I cannot find one in any menu or services etc. Somewhere there must be a file that XP writes to on shutdown setting a flag or something to tell it too start up with the advanced options menu displaying
Any help gratefully received
Pete
