Advanced IE 6 help needed

Please help... I have no advanced tab in my Internet
Options. I am using IE 6.0.2800.1106IS with Win98se.
How can I recover this option?

Advanced Tab Check Boxes Missing in Internet Options
When you attempt to change a setting on the Advanced tab in the Internet
Options dialog box, the check boxes may be missing.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately this does not
resolve my problem... it did suggest I reinstall Windows
which I am reluctant to do as time is a factor.

Note: I tacked on the search element policies as a way of
summarizing my impression of what the rest of the search
produced. Without that word you get extraneous threads
about Red-X among others. OTOH using it filters out any other
non-policy related cases there may be.
