I have a series of numbers in a range that I'm trying to
use the Advanced Filter to copy the unique subset of those
numbers. If there is a number elswhere in the range that
is the same as the first number, it appears in the copied
unique range twice. Is there a fix for this?

Roy,

If you don't have a heading over your column of numbers,
Excel will assume that the first number in your list is
the "title" of the data. The easy fix for this is to just
put a bogus heading over your list of numbers
(e.g. "List" or "XXXX"), then run your autofilter.

That always eliminates the problem for me!
