Is there a way to advance a slide that has a movie with only one click of the
mouse? Right now I have to click twicek, once to stop the movie, second time
to advance the slide. thanks.

It doesn't.

If you move your mouse away from the movie, it should just advance the
slide.

If you wait for the video to finish then as Echo said it should move to the
next slide when you click off the video.

If you want to move on while the video is running try double clicking the
entry for the video (first one if there's two) and change "Stop Playing"
FROM "next click" TO "end of slide"

See if that works for you.

Thank you. We set our videos to loop, so the first suggestion is not an
option, although does work. I would like to try your second suggestion but I
can't find the setting you are talking about. When I double click, the movie
toggles back and forth from stopping and starting.

Double click the animation entry in the custom animation task pane.
