ADSL connection disconnects when switching users

My ADSL connection disconnects whenever i log off using the switch user
function, then log on as a different user. If i log off using switch user,
then back into the same account, the connection stays. it only drops when i
log on as a different user.

It only started doing this since i formatted my hdd. any ideas?

If you are connected directly to the Modem you might have a PPPOE problem.

I.e. that the PPPOE program works only one account, make sure that it can
work from all accounts.

The thing is, the same software worked before i reinstalled XP. And my
software is configured for PPPoA.
