ADSIEDIT Issue

I finally figured out how to forcibly remove an old server from my current
Active Directory. The problem I have now is that I am trying to remove the
old server from the list of names in my ADSIEdit program. It is still listed
under domain controllers. I right -click on the server and hit delete. It
asks if I amsure that I want to delete this and I answer yes. It then says I
have "Insufficient access rights to perform the operation". I am logged on
to this server as the administrator and I have full rights. Any suggestions?

have followed the steps from here:

If yes check the Security ACL of the DC computer object and see if you have
enough permissions.

Are you also a domain administrator?

Try using the ntdsutil and when you are binding to a dc make sure you are
using an administrative account.
