Problem: error message upon opening forms in an adp after
launching full Access 2003 installed on a Terminal Server
(not done with a transformation); my forms are bound to
SQL Server tables or stored procedures; error message
says "couldn't create backup of the file." Using user
names created on the terminal Server but not in the Active
Directory on the Domain Controller (other server). Mapped
one such user to a login name in SQL Server--still no go.
Do I need a transformation install? Can't the Terminal
Server account/connection be mapped to a login name in SQL
Server? Some of my users are on Windows 98 and can't join
the Windows 2003 Server domain directly; they must use
a "workgroup" approach. It is one of these non-domain
user login names that I mapped my Terminal Server user
name to in order to access the adp. Launches main form OK
which is tied to nothing. But try to open a form that
acesses a table, and boom. Can access tables directly,
however. Thanks for any advice. --Jeb
