I installed the ADODB.stream update from Windows Update.
After installing I noticed that I cannot access anymore
the usual websites that I go to before the installation.
Moreover, I am now having problems collecting my emails
from my POP servcie provider.

I tried it on my other PC which doesn't have the
ADODB.stream update and it works fine (the browsing and
collecting email), however, to test my observation, I
installed the ADODB.stream update fromt he Windows Update
site. Afterwards, I tested my email and browsing again,
I'm sorry to find out that I now have the same problem on
my second PC, the same problem as my first.

Now, I'm using this 3rd PC (without the ADODB.stream
update) and can access the web very fine and also my
email. I definitely will not install ADODB.stream update
on this PC on the virtue of what happened on my two other
PCs.

Bote that I'm connecting on the same broadband DSL
connection (via router), so it is not an ISP problem.

I have WinXP (with all critical updates and recommended
updates installed, expect the ADODB.stream on my 3rd PC)
on all PC.

Please help on solving this problem, or at least an
instruction on how to remove the ADODB.stream
installation.

If you need to uninstall go to the Add/Remove Programs and look for "Microsoft
Data Access Components KB870669".

You can also use System Restore to a Date/Time before issue started:
Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore
