Adobe vs Word 2000

I have an old word processing program, Word 2000
Whenever I click on attachments, etc., to print, the pc
chooses the Word 2000 as the default program.
I also have Adobe Acrobat v.6, which really has better
quality in handling reviewing and printing.
Without taking out the word 2000, how can i get the pc to
default to Adobe?

Adobe Acrobet and Microsoft Word are two different programs with different
features. Microsoft Word is for word processing, typing documents. Adobe
Acrobat is only for viewing PDF files, not for writing documents. You
should have both of them on your system.
 
Adobe Acrobat is more than a viewer. You can create PDF files, combine
different files into PDF, much more. Adobe Acrobat Reader will only read
PDF.
