Adobe reader

I am trying to down load Adobe reader 7.0
It gets to the end of download & then I get error message:
[Yellow Triangle with !] Error 1324. The path XP Program Files or the volume
is invalid. Please enter it again.
I have tried to down load to different locations with the same message.
Does any body know what it means.

Hi Bruce,

Try emptying your personal temp folder here:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user_name>\Local Settings\Temp

Thanks for reply Rick
I tried that but one file would not delete even with nothing obvious
running: JET8B05.tmp. Google can't say what it is either. When I deleted
everything else & tried installing again the temp file came up again & I
opened it and it said Error 1324.The path XP Program Files or the volume is
invalid. Please enter it again.
Any other ideas someone said internet connection, but it seems ok I can
download & install other files FTP that is.

Hi Bruce,

There error indicates an invalid character in either the destination or the
source. Where are you downloading from?
