Will adobe acrobat reader work with XPe? We are thinking of setting up some
machines with XPe as a way to simplify desktop management. (A 40mb os imsge
is much easier to reinstall than a 1.5gb image...) in any event, we only
want internet explorer and adobe reader to run off the local machine and
then run all of our other apps (like office) through terminal services.

Yes - Adobe runs. More generally, any Win32 app will run as long as you
include it's OS dependancies in your build.
