I have downloaded and installed Adobe Acrobat Reader on
my computer. But whenever I try to open an adobe document
a installation box with WIMDOWS JOURNAL Reader keeps
popping up. WHy? And then it is hell to try and shut
down. It just keeps popping up. Somebody please help!!

Because the .PDF extension, usually used to open Acrobat Reader has been set
to Windows Journal.

Open Explorer, find a .PDF file. right-click, select Open With and select
Adobe Acrobat and check the always box.

Thank you very much!

Acrobat was working fine on my computer, but the other day it started messing up everytime I start trying to open it

Says: "Adobe Acrobat 5.0 has encountered an error and needs to close." I then have an option to send info to Microsoft

I've spent hours on the phone with Adobe support. Nobody has a solution for me yet. We've reinstalled it like 50 times
