Adobe Reader 6.0 No Longer Opens Files on Web

Hi,

Since I installed Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware, I have
been able to open Adobe files that are on my PC. But when
I click on an Adobe link on the web, I get sent to a web
page that has a small graphic at the upper left with a
red X in the middle.

How can I eliminate this problem?

Happy to hear that. But Adobe is regrettably not working
for me.
 
And if you are doing that, I'd recommend installing Version 7.

6.02 and less (I think) have a security issue which can be resolved by a
hard to find patch, or by version 7.
 
Thank you, everyone.

I deleted ver 6 and downloded and installed ver 7. For
whatever reason, everything is now back to normal. And I
can enjoy the benefits of ver 7.
 
Great. There's an advanced tools item which doesn't yet recognize the
existence of Version 7, but I'm sure that will change eventually.
