Adobe install error

I am triing to get Adove reader 8 to install. I have on UAC on but getting
this message while triing to get this to install: "Internal Error 2203.
C:\Windows\Installer\8a26a.msi, -2147287008". I am getting other errors while
triing to install other apps on my Vista pc. Decided to do a reinstall once
again to try and fix another problems which still did not work. Anyone tell
me what i need to do before i get pissed yet again and decide to reinstall
everything (destructive reinstall)?
