Upgrade... maybe also to uncheck Yahoos toolbar ;), application restart
is needed for IE7, Firefox needs another install from the same URL.

Does Flash Player 8 need to be removed before upgrade, or removed after
upgrade, or not at all?

No, just install from posted Adobe URL and maybe "optout"/uncheck
Yahoos "damned" toolbar, no need for toolbars in IE7... ;) With IE6
there is no option for Yahoo toolbar as I can see.

If you also have Firefox installed you must perform this update twice.
