Admunch style freeware

You can find dozens with a search engine. As I recall from my IE days,
the "google toolbar" and "popup manager" are among the better ones.

However, the ultimate solution is to get Mozilla Firefox browser and use
that instead of IE. Haven't seen one popup since I started using it six
months ago.

Proxomitron development will never really stop - it will still be
relevant in 10 years time. Yes - the actual program interface is no
longer being developed, but the power of the program is really in the
web page & header filters, which will never stop being developed. A
good site for advice on filters & how to write/use them is the Yahoo
group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/prox-list/ .
