I have run over every fix Jimmy S. listed and still have
clipping, and total system dump. As MS stands for
integrity, I Demand (well beg is more like it) that you
simply state for your fans that you dropped the ball on
this game, and 2.) Your working on a better patch!

Have you given your hardware a good checking over? Stress testing
components etc? Tried re-installing the OS?

Come on!!!! In order to get ONE game to work correctly, we need to
re-install XP. THAT IS NOT A VALID SOLUTION! I call that "Passing the
Buck!!!" I got the same **crap** when I was experiencing a no sound
problem with Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight and Windows 95. LucasArts was
wanting me to re-install Windows 95 before they could help me further. That
was just before Windows 98 came out, which by the way fixed my sound problem
after I successfully upgraded to Windows 98.

Well, with a 120GB hard drive, I have loaded every first
person shooter game made in the last 4-5 years on my
computer. Every now and then I have to tweek here and
there to get them perfect, but there is only one game
that has never run right, and when it does it is at the
lowest res, and that is halo. Again, can't you people
just say, "Sorry Sean, were working on a patch, and yes,
Halo is not what we intended it to be" or words to that
effect?

Comun Microsoft Your the biggest Software Company in the
god dammed world and u cant get one simple game 2 run
properly, u should be asamhed and just pass the respect
onto Linux

I have had no problems with Halo. Single player is okay, similar to the
xbox, but the multiplayer is just to much fun!

System Specs:
Processor: 2.8 P4 with HT
Mainboard: MSI 845G-Neo-LS (800FSB)
Memory: 1 GB 2(DDR400)
Video: Nvidia GF-Ti4400 (PNY)
Sound: SB Audigy 2-ZS
Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster 900 (19")
OS: Win XP Pro SP1 with all recent updates.

Multiplayer is a lot of fun for my opponents! :-P
I still love my HALO though.

Cheers!
Jimmy.

XP Pro SP1, DX 9.0b, ASUS P4PE, P4 2.4, Intel 845 v5, 512 MB RAM,
DSL, 430W P/S, SBLive!, MSI G4Ti4200 64 MB v45.23, DVD, CDRW.

We really need to play some time, Jimmy. I'm willing to wager I'm worse
than you, but it sure is fun. 8-)

You can't play worst than I do! I'll explain why.

To prevent CTS or just plain old tired wrists, I decided to buy
a game pad to play games with, specifically HALO. The one I
bought has a mini joystick that I have to control with my right
thumb, and whenever the action gets heavy, it difficult to use it
to aim with. But it's a good handicap to practice with so I can
be uber elite in LAN games with keys and a mouse. :-)

See ya on a server soon!
Jimmy.
