I need to know where's stored the administrators' password in the registry,
Could someone help me?

It is encrypted in the SAM and is not accessible with registry tools.
What are you trying to do?

Well, I've received a pc from a collegue that is gone away with win xp pro
and with a user account. I've already tried to reset the administrator
password with these tools, but it doesn't work, the pc is very well
protected with some mmc tools.
I wouldn't want to format the pc.
What can I do?

What doesn't work? Tip 1984 links you to http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/ which should work.

If not, try tip 1864 or 552 in the 'Tips & Tricks' at http://www.jsifaq.com
