On my laptop which runs fine, I want to log on as "Administrator". I am the
second owner, and before I try to get a password from the original owner, is
there some default password I can try? It is only about 1.5 years old.

Hi Gary,

There is no default password. If one is set, you must get it from the
original owner. In WinXP Home, it is empty by default.
