Is there a default password to get me in? I upgraded my XP to XP with SP2 but
now it is set for an administrartor account and I don't know what the
password is.

Use your TAB key and tab the cursor through the
password request box, then hit ENTER.

There is no such thing as a "default password"
for logging onto Windows XP.

There would not be an administrator password unless you created one. You can
always reset it from another account with administrator privileges. Have you
tried just hitting <enter>?

Can you go to save mode using the <f8> key. If you can the go to save mode
and reset the password form the control panel

The XP installation as part of the process, should have asked you to
enter/set up a password when it set up the administrator account in the
first place.
