using w xp i. e. 6 aol 8.0 hp

I am unable to use the AOL tutorials.
A message states that I must have administrator access.
I believe that I do have that.
To check, I went to control panel-- user accounts and
what I have is:

Owner------- computer administrator
Guest------- guest account is off.

I am the only user on this computer.
Am I correct that I do have administrator access ?
If not, what do I have to do to correct this.?

If you are logging on as owner, yes you have access, but was aol-hell
installed while logged on as owner, or from guest account? Must have aol in
owners programs

I really appreciate your help but I don't know if Aol was
logged on as owner or guest. Can you tell me how to get
it logged on as owner. Tanks very much.
