Hi
Am I right in thinking that in Xp Home edition if you just start your
machine and work away, you are in effect the Administrator without actually
telling XP. I am the only one that uses the laptop so haven't set anything
up with regards to accounts but was worried that I wouldn't be getting the
Administrator rights that I see such a lot written about.
I have also tried to install a couple of progs on my laptop which I have on
my Desktop PC but have had no luck up to now as when they were put into my
PC which is running W98SE they straight away started up and I just followed
the instructions for the installation. That isn't happening when I put the
CDs into my laptop with XP Home installed. I have looked on the CD in the
drive but can't fathom which .exe I should be using to install. Any help
much appreciated.
