Administrator rights

Hi,

On one of our Laptop we have installed several Siemens'
applications like Step7, ProTool used for PLC programming
whom need administrative rights to run. Users right are
not enought ...

There's some way to understand the specific right need by
these applications and set it for the domain users group ?

First of check the Siemens website for information on
running these applications under Windows 2000.

If they are legacy applications, then generally you have
2 choices. Either add the users who need to run these
apps to the 'Power Users' group on their workstations;
or
apply the compatws.inf security template to the machines
that need to run the apps.
