I an trying to run clean boot and I get the error message that I do not have
administrator priviledges. Yet, when I turn on my computer, and go through
the control panel, I am the only administrator listed. That is, unless I go
to safe mode, and then I find the following:
User: Administrator, ASPNET and Owner
Group:Administration, Users, Administration

Do I need to remove the other administrator (and the ASPNET) so I show up as
the only administrator on the machine? What issues are there if I do.

Appreciate the help.

No, don't try removing those accounts. First off, you won't be able to
remove one of them at least and possibly both of them. Removing the aspnet
would cause problems, too since it sounds like the system is using it.

Do however, try to use the Admin account in Safe Mode, not your personal
Admin account - it may well let you accomplish what you need. There is a
known reason for the problem you're having, but darned if I can recall or
locate it right now. If I come across it later I'll post it .

HTH, and post back; people are intrested,
