Ive got my internet connection up and running.

Im using my friends pc.

The only issue is there seems to be an administrator lock on it.

I just tried installing windows live messenger and it came up with " only an administrator can install windows programmes"

When i start pc, it brings up 2 user accounts: My friends and My own (which I have just created)

How do i overcome this so that i can download programmes or even become primary user/administrator?

Have you tried disabling your mates? and using your own alone?

I cant disable it.

However, i can delete it. But it brings up a box with this message:

each user is represented by a unique identifier which is independant of the user name. once a user is deleted, even creating an identically named user in the future will not restore access to resources which currently include the user in their access control lists.

are you sure you want to delete the user administrator?

so should i go ahead and delete or not?

Don't delete your friends account - if you don't have admin rights on your account, can you not just login to your mates instead and use that?

Once logged into your mates, you can then allocate admin rights to yours.

DONT Delete it do as Ady has said thank you Ady I were busy elseware:thumb:
