Administrator problems

When I reboot my computer, it always wants to (by default)
log me on as the administrator even though I have my own
profile created. Once booted, I can then log off
administrator and log on as the user account I created.
However, I don't want to go through this every time I
reboot. Any suggestions?

You can run regedit.exe and navigate to;
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
edit the Reg_Sz string values
"DefaultUserName"
and
"DefaultPassword"
to reflect the correct username and password.

Do you not get a box when you start-up in which you can type your own
username and password?

.
No, I don't...When I first installed Win2000 I got that
box, but after I put my name and no password, it just
automatically signed me on. Unfortunately now it wants to
always log on the administrator which I don't need.

.
I tried this and set the default value to my username, but
it didn't help. It still wants to start as the
administrator when I go to "Start" Shutdown and "Restart".
