Administrator Problem

In trying to disable the administrator since I'm the only
one that uses this computer I have been locked out of
windows xp professional. Hitting control, alt, del brings
up the entry window but no accounts are recognized to
windows does not boot.
Can anyone tell me how to get back into windows? Also
how to shut down the administrator program so I don't have
to enter a password every time I go to use the computer?

You can't shut down XP's hidden administrator account.

When you hit ctrl-alt-delete, try using the word administrator as the user
ID, leave the password blank and press enter. This machine's hidden
administrator account and unless you created a password for this account
during setup (this is not the same as the user accounts you create at the
end of setup) this should get you in. Once in follow the instructions in
the following Knowledge Base article as it sounds as though your user
accounts are corrupted:
