inadvertently pressed enter when i was changing my
password and i do not know what the old password is, how
do retrieve my old password??

thanks

You can't. If it was that easy, why bother with passwords? Use your
backup administrator userid to log in and reset the password for your
Administrator account. Why do you care about the *old* password. It's
the *new* password that you need to login. Since you were probably in
the middle of entering a known string as your password, just keep
entering more character of the string until you find the length at which
you inadvertently hit the Enter key. You might also check to see if
your new password was blank; just enter your userid, leave the password
blank, and hit Enter.
