Administrator password

I am attempting to change my administrator password of my
Active directory site. Through the active directory users
and computers snap-in I am able to change the password and
it notifies me that the password has been changed, But it
has not been. The password stays the same. This is only
on the administrator account. All other accounts are
acting fine. I have reset both of my domain controllers,
still with no luck. Thanks for your time.
