Administrator Password Problem!

I have reinstalled W2K to one of my machines and when it boots up it
asks for an Administrator password. I have put in all passowrds that I
have, but non of them will work.

I reinstalled (again) W2K and left the machine unplugged from the
network and it still asks me for an administrator password.

My administrator passwords work on any other machine but not on this
one! Reinstalling W2K doesn't seem to wipe the system!

Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?

Cheers
Glenn

In Glenn Richardson had this to say:

Have you tried leaving it blank? If not then (and is this a re-install or a
complete reformat?) you can try killing the old password:

I hope ur problem have been solved but I faced a similar problem a
while back but rather than the wrong password I found out that a
particular key was nor working in my key board so what ever I typed the
password is wrong.

I did another complete reinstall and I seemed to clear it!

However I would have never have thought of the keyboard being
knackered. I will remember that one for the future.
