Administrator password in Server 2003

Good day!

We can't access the server, the former administrator resigned and he's now
working abroad. How can i reset the password.

Any help will be highly appreciated, thanks in advance and more power.
 
Someone should have asked for the password from
the former administrator before he left. All you can
do now is reformat and reinstall the operating system.

Or reset the password with any of the widely available tools.

For security reasons I never post links to such tools,but do a search for
tools to reset passwords in XP. The same tools work with Server 2003.

As long as there is physical access to the machine there *are* ways to break
in.
