Administrator Issues

I am the only user on my computer. I had my daughter as a
user too, but tried deleting her account to resolve my
problem. We were both set as administrators. Now the
problem. I try to back up files to my CD burner but I get
the following:
you do not have permission to save in this directory
windows xp, See the administrator to get permission. I
have tried the shared folders option, but that didn't
work either.

If you are using the built-in Windows backup utility it won't backup to CD
anyway.
