Hi,
I made a new user account with a password and now I can't
find the old "Administrator" user account? The new
account is also a computer administrator. I can still
find all documents made as "Adminsitrator" but where is
the old setup?
Thanks!

You don't say which version of XP you are using.
When you create a new administrator-rights account, the built-in
administrator is hidden by default.
To log on as The Administrator, (and bear in mind that it is NOT a good idea
to use this account for day-to-day usage),
in Home Edition, boot up into Safe Mode.
In Pro, at the welcome screen, press Ctl-Alt-Del twice, when you will see
the W2K-style log on box. Type in the details and clicj OK.

In addition to Gordon's information, you can enable the built in
Administrator account on the Welcome Screen in XP Pro.

To enable the Administrator account on the new Windows XP logon screen,
visit my web site, www.dougknox.com and go to the Windows XP section.
Follow the link for Enable Administrator Account ......

This small VB Script will make the registry change necessary for the
Administrator account to be available on the Welcome Screen. If you prefer
to do it manually, click Start, Run and enter REGEDIT Navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList\

Note: There is a space between Windows and NT in the above Key.

Add the Administrator account if necessary and/or change the Administrator
value to 1

When you set up a new account, and login...you need to
log the new person out, and log back on as administrator
with the same password you had in for administrator
before. If you never put a password in for administrator,
you can add or change a password for that person by
giving the three finger salute, Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
