I just installed Window 2000 on one of my PCs at home
(don't ask why I did not go with XP). I have three
questions. First question is that since we use Windows NT
at work, the administrator account does not come up at
all. Is there a way for the administrator account to
accept the password every time and without waiting for
user prompt?
Second question is: I noticed in the Control Panel that
the vertical scroll bar shows up in the middle of the
window display, either cutting short the entire list in
details mode or showing two colums per row in large icon
mode. How do I make the vertical scroll bar move to the
right edge of the window display?
Third, in the Task status bar (lower right corner)
contains a list of processes running and started at boot
time. I have one process that I am trying to disable from
startup at boot time. Win98 allows me to uncheck it but
can't find out how in Window 2000. How do I tell this
process not to come up at boot time?
Thanks!
