Administrator Account Problems

I recently purchased Norton antivirus. I installed the
program and attempted to use the live upate feature. The
program will not let me access the feature because it say
the following

LiveUpdate could not read or write a file it needed
because you do not have sufficient access rights on this
machine. It is recommended that only users with Power
User or Administrator rights run LiveUpdate.
LiveUpdate session is complete.

I believe I have administrator privileges. i have
checked the user accounts in Control Panel and it
indicates I have administrator privileges. Yet each time
I try to access LiveUpdate on NAV I get the same message
and no access to the feature .

any help would be appreciated

I have the exact same difficulty and have been trying to
solve it for a few weeks. If I find anything out I will
let you know.

Live Update is in C:\Program Files\Symantec\LiveUpdate, and it's real name
is LUALL.
Go find it, in Explorer, then hold down the shift-key, and right-click on
LUALL. Then choose Run As...

This will give you the opportunity to run it as an Administrator. (I'm
pretty sure)
