GRANT SMITH

Stand-alone PC using MS XP Pro
Although I am shown as having Administrator rights when I
boot up, I have only three tabs visible when I go to
alter security settings... How do I find where to change
the ACTUAL user status. I have an issue with NAV and NCF
unable to function as of 0700 today (they were fine at
2200hrs last night), and am unable to download a PC
health-check program from www.trendmicro.co.uk until I
lift a specific security barrier. Can anyone help me here?

Open Windows Explorer, go to Tools, select Folder Options, go to the View
tab, scroll to the bottom of the list, deselect, "Use Simple File Sharing,"
click apply and ok. You should then be able to make any security changes
you desire.
