Bob

I have a notebook computer running Windows 2000
Professional. Recently spyware/adware infected my system,
so I downloaded a couple of trusted packages to correct
the problem. Unfortunately, these packages require
Administrator access to remove some problem files, and I
can't manage to log in as Administrator.

How can I gain administrator access?

Bob,

When you state that you can not "manage to logon as administrotor" , is it
that you do not know the password? If so then, If your PC is part of a
coperate domain, you may need to inquire with the network management.

Thanks, Bobby, but I have a stand-alone system. The good
news is that I eventually figured out how to change the
permissions on the files in question and was able to
delete them. Thanks again for your response.
