"Administrative Updates" for Win2k Pro

I'm sure we're all familiar with the ability to do an "Administrative
Update" of MS Office 2000 or XP, so that we can incorporate the latest
service packs and security patches into MS Office.

Is there an equivalant to doing that for MS Windows 2000 Professional?

We are currently owning the original media for MS Windows 2000 Professional,
SR-1, and anytime I set up (or reconfigure) a system, I am doing it from
that CD, and upgrading it to SR-4, and then adding any and all Security
Patches, updates, etc.

Is there a way for me to make a copy I can keep up to date, burn to CD, and
go from there?

Please don't suggest alternatives which would require purchasing software,
as I have to make do with what I already have, which is basically MS Windows
2000 Pro (and licenses), and "freebie" MS tools.

Absolutely!

The feature is called slipstreaming and I've documented a method you can use
to create your own Windows 2000 CD here.

Also, make sure you run the hotfix for MS03-026 automatically after setup.
You can't (easily) slipstream hotfixes, but you can cause the hotfix setup
to run silently after setup.
