administrative tools disppeared

hi
i am using win2k - as on amd k6-2 with 128 mb ram;
recently i installed oracle 8i enterprise and after
restarting all the items in administrative tools and few
program shortcuts in start menu have disappeared. please
suggest a way to restore it

Hi, Ninad.

I've not run into that with Windows 2000, but in XP,
which is very similar to 2k as far as the start menu
icons working goes, you can right-click on the start
menu, go to properties, customize button, and advanced,
and it'll give you some options on which icons to put in
the menu, including the administrative tools. I hope
this helps.
