I have recently started working in an office where there is a laptop we can't
use because the last manager assigned himself as administrator. We can't make
any changes, add programs or restore. When I tried to restore using the disks
that came with the computer, disk number one is damaged and doesn't work. I
contacted SONY; they no longer sell the disks.

How do I restore my computer without administrative privileges or the
original disks?

Can I use the disks from another computer?

Find and use a password reset utility. Google for them.

Physically, only if you have the same CDs that would have come with a
very similar Sony laptop.
