I have a pc and recently installed a wireless router so a remote pc in our
house could access the web. Foolishly I started pressing buttons and now I
don't have administrative priviledges to my own computer. I now log in as a
guest and I never had to log in at all before. So now I don't know where to
start to untangle all this.

"In solving a problem of this sort, the grand thing is to be able to reason
backwards. That is a very useful accomplishment, and a
very easy one, but people do not practise it much. In the every-day affairs
of life it is more useful to reason forwards, and so
the other comes to be neglected. There are fifty who can reason
synthetically for one who can reason analytically." - Sherlock

Safe Mode:

If you log out, press start and select log out, you can then press the CTRL
+ ALT + DEL twice and login again by typing in another user name, in this
case administrator and the appropriate password.
